Warm-Blooded Ones live on the land, fly in the air, and swim in the sea. What makes Warm-Blooded Ones unique is that They have a constant body temperature. This enables Them to live in cold, hot, and temperate areas. Warm-Blooded Ones also give birth to live young (except for Platypus and Echidna). All Warm-Blooded Ones nourish their Children with milk.
Of all the animals, most people feel closest to the Warm-Blooded Ones. People have a natural kinship with Them. Warm-Blooded Ones live invited in people's homes as companions or are raised by people for food, clothing, and shelter. People are nourished by their friendship with Warm-Blooded Ones.
Family Teacher pages provide lessons that all their members teach. However, not all members of a family are alike. For example, all Squirrels have bushy tails, but not all are as social as Prairie Dog, who lives in towns. Grey Squirrel prefers the company of a few Friends, while Cape Ground Squirrel lives in single-sex groups. Therefore, pages for Individual Members are also included for learning what They have to teach.
“Badger” is the name of three distinct animals. A “Badger” page is provided for teachings that They all have in common. Of the three “Badgers”, pages for American Badger and Eurasian Badger are available.
